Setting the scene: From the global Agenda to local action!

Local and regional governments are in the driving seat to deal with the vast majority of today’s challenges: climate change, rising inequalities, migration, changing demography, circular economy… However, many constraints continue to prevent them from taking action.

In this high-level opening session, speakers and participants will brainstorm on how multi-stakeholder and multi-level partnerships can fast-track the real change needed for the people and the planet.
